Jacqueline Rose Williams

Jacqueline Rose Williams, 84, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born October 5, 1936 in Garfield, NJ, a daughter of the late Peter and Frances Scaglione. Jackie, when she was a young lady, moved from New Jersey to Connelsville, Pa, where she lived for many years until she moved to Morgantown in 1997. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Star City, WV and a former member of St. Rita's Catholic Church, Connellsville, PA. Known for her kindness, giving, and compassion, Jackie always helped anyone in need. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and above all, family was her most treasured asset. She will truly be missed but her legacy of love and generosity will live forever in many hearts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Williams; a brother, Jack Scaglione and a sister, Mae Licciardi. Surviving her is a sister, Sophie Posluszny, of New Jersey and many loving nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 3334 University Ave., Morgantown, WV, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. where there will be a scriptural wake service at 7:15 p.m. A funeral mass will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 116 S. 2nd St., Connellsville, PA, with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the church, with Fr. Paul Lisik as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Rita's Cemetery, Connellsville, PA. Benjamin Russell Williams

Benjamin Russell Williams, 71, of Halleck Community, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born September 4, 1950 in Morgantown, a son of the late Benjamin Ralph Williams and Dorothy 'Dottie' Dalton Williams. He graduated from Morgantown High School and was the former owner and operator of Mountain Timber and Excavating and Williams Trucking. His favorite past times were hanging out with friends and socializing and working on just about anything in his garage as well as riding his Rhino in the 'Holler'. Above all, he loved his family. His grandkids were his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed. Benjamin is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Stevens Williams; his son, Ben Williams Kimberly; grandchildren, Bryleigh Rae Williams and Kole Dalton Williams; two brothers, Richard 'Dick' Willams {Linda} and Roger Williams {Joey}; a sister, Marion Westfall {Bernie},as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Williams and two brothers, Bob Williams and Billy Joe Dalton. Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Dering-Henson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Meadow officiating. Burial will follow in the Summers Memorial Cemetery.
